Cara Armstrong Kindergarten is an iconic play-based kindergarten which has been offering the children of Hawthorn East and its surrounding neighbourhoods a quality kinder experience and family friendly atmosphere since 1945.

The philosophy behind the program is “learning through play” and an emphasis is placed on providing a stimulating environment and a warm positive atmosphere where children can develop confidence, curiosity, communication skills, and cooperative behaviour.
